For the Capability Model to work, we must configure the root capability, i.e. the top level of the capability model. For you, this might be called something like "MyCompany"

To complete the set-up follow these steps:

  1. Define what the top level of the organisation is e.g. MyCompany
  2. Navigate to EA Support > Essential Viewer > Report Configuration > Report Constant
  3. Select the Root Business Capability instance
  4. Click ADD in the Associated Instances slot and select the Business Capability that has been defined as the top level for this model
  5. Publish
